Temporary Receptionist – Rochester NY

Job Description

Aboldco is currently seeking a Temporary Receptionist in Rochester, NY. To be considered for this Receptionist position preferred candidates should have 1-2 years of administration experience and be a great example of a team player. The Receptionist will be responsible for creating a best-in-class experience for callers, visitors, and internal and external customers. The position will deal with a diverse group of important external callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities of the Receptionist:

  • Greet and check-in associates and guests as they arrive
  • Manage, educate and assist walk-ins with applications and other needs
  • Maintain a neat and orderly front office area
  • Answer phone calls and relay messages via email, if necessary
  • Manage on-call phone and documentation process
  • Update internal database with employee information as needed
  • Clear onboarding documents in real time
  • Distribute paychecks to employees
  • Process tax credits daily
  • Process garnishments in a timely fashion
  • Distribute mail and packages daily

Requirements

  • HS Diploma required
  • Exceptional customer service – must be polite, respectful and professional at all times
  • Ability to de-escalate situations
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be proficient with computers, including databases, email, and Microsoft suite
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize
  • Excellent attendance, timeliness and work ethic
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation

 

Job Type: Temporary
Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Rochester, NY (Required)
